Who organized?

I'll have the "MeetUp" "Jewelry Makers" sign on my table.

Let's plan on getting to the beadshow around noon and then gathering at the restaurant after (maybe 2ish?) to talk about the spring fest in Mount Holly.

I have 3 people interested. So, if you are, give me a for certain so we can all share in the expense. I have the tent and tables. We need props for the jewelry (driftwood, baskets, etc.).

Here's restaurant nearby http://www.mapquest.c...
Here's site for beadshow http://www.thedownthe...
SEE YOU THERE.

Less than a week to the next meetup. We will be talking about the springfest in Mount Holly. We already have 3 people participating. Hope you can join us. Remember the bead show before the meetup. It's always a good one. Also, I'll have the "MeetUp" sign on our table at the restaurant. See you there!!!

I am loving these meetings. Can't wait for others to join us. I learned a lot today and know we will continue to learn from each other. If anyone else who hasn't attended yet wants to meetup with us to go to the bead show on the 9th of March, let me know; and we can carpool. The more the merrier!!! and it will give you all a chance to meet us. Pat

Who attended?

    •  Our new member, Kim, was so much fun and loaded with knowledge. She's a fourth for the Springfest in Mt. Holly, so we are closing it now or we won't have any room to stand. The beadshow was wonderful. We all bought too much from all the great vendors. Thanks for a great time, ladies.
    •  Well, it was awful, but not because of the bead show. I thought we were to meet and do jewelry, but I was wrong. I went to the bead show, but because of my health, could not walk but 50 feet or so and there was not a chair to rest in. I looked as far as i could see and did not find "our" bead group sign. I left after only 5 minutes and told the girl to donate my ticket to someone, which I seriously doubt happened. What little I saw had beautiful beads, gorgeous items - but I did not buy anything. Perhaps I can make it to another meeting when things are more "regular." Since I know what to expect, I may go to the next bead show - with my little scooter! I had taken part of the day off - so I got my oil changed and went home....Lookin' forward! Cheers, Gerry
    •  I enjoyed meeting and talking to other jewelry makers.
