The Houston Society for Glass Beadmakers (HSGB) is a group of enthusiastic lampwork artists who meet once a month to enjoy the company of other artists, share techniques, see lampwork demos and have a great time. We meet on the second Sunday of each month from 2:00-5:00 (except April 2009).

Membership fees are due in January and are $35 per year or $25 per year if you are an International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB) member. HSGB membership dues can be paid using PayPal (add $1.05 to cover fees) to thehoustonhotties@hotmail.com or by check or cash at a meeting. Paid Membership entitles members to the use of our comprehensive lending library comprised of a large collection of books, DVDs and presses. Membership also means that you may participate in any HSGB Trunk Shows, receive our wonderful Goodie Giveaways, participate in our Raffles, you are eligible for demo bead drawings when we have visiting artists and you have attended the demo class. It is not necessary to pay membership fees to join us here in Meetup or to attend meetings.

A monthly newsletter is distributed to all who request a copy through email and online in this Meetup group.

Our group contains several talented teachers if you are interested in taking classes.

We host and offer a variety of events throughout the year that are beneficial to the club members which include guest lampwork artist demos, an Annual Spring Auction, a Christmas Party, and various other classes and demos.
